We are most fortunate to have such a fantastic instrument in our home, and want to share it with fellow organ aficionados in the Phoenix area. To our knowledge, this is the largest digital pipe organ in a private residence in the world. Our first ever “Organ Bash” was held in June 2006, with over 70 organists and organ lovers from Phoenix to as far away as Indiana and Ohio attending. It was such an amazing success that we took the occasion of Halloween for an encore. Again, we enjoyed food, friendship and organ music for nearly 6 hours. In April this year, Dan Miller was our featured organist, with over 100 enjoying the music of Dan, as well as several local organists, including Archie, 95 years of age, and Eric Fricke, age 14. With the arrival of the new 5 manual, with it's 149 stops, equivalent to 195 pipe ranks, it is certain to permit almost every piece of organ literature to be performed to it's fullest extent. We have expanded the audio channels to provide a Chamade division with Tubas and Resurection Trumpets playing from behind the console, with opposing Festival Trumpets. The 5th manual provides a very full Antiphonal organ. If you would like to play this organ, please email me. It would be our pleasure to arrange a time at your convenience. Charlie |
